The 'curated' situation of this group show determines the location of MTSAO's structure, which then its scattering mode leads to the re-structuring of the site - in terms of how people might negotiate with the rest of the unoccupied space leave out by the work's material. The dimension of the material was ruled to be unaltered . This is due to my respect to working with found materials. Exposed nails were present.

The process of making involves throwing a coin (a procedure according to the I Ching). The final constellation of the work, therefore, was an indeterminate outcome of chance. we give chance to response, almost to react, to aesthetic configurations. To borrow John Cage, we take 'every kind of like and dislike'.

The I-Ching procedure of throwing coins several times, was one of Cage's methods of composition. Michael Farrell (a Melbourne-based poet) has utilizes it - as part of his timing strategy and also decision-making process - in his chance poetic discussion: Timekeeper Zero. And MTSAO is the beginning point of my experimentation with chance operation.

The method of throwing coins came up because i want to make a kind of non-intentional placement of the structure on the part of the author-artist. And this procedure was developed with Michael Farrel.

Each time the wooden structure was placed or leaned against the wall, i tossed a coin. I marked 'yes' on one side of it, and then 'no' on the other. As a consequence, this repetitive process (depending on how many materials there are) the throw patterns is represented in the physical structure which overlaps in different situations of time and space.

by opening night, entropy kicks in: parts of the physical structure fell over at a different interval of time (which is interesting and fascinating to watch because the dropping sound of one or several structures creates silences for approx'ly a sec). So, my sculpture can also produce sound and silence ( or event) not just space.
